She is more subdued in real life (reminds me of shades of blueberries) and meant to be a sturdy enough to hold lots of goodies when my eldest daughter, Andrea, and I attend the Houston Quilt Market next month to promote "Making More Needle Felting Magic." I looked for months to find a suitable lining but never found one so I opted to felt the lining and let it hang over the edge with a little decorative needle felting and stitching to dress her up! The straps were felted and then stitched to a fabric backing so they won't stretch when carrying a heavy load.
Oh this is glorious!! Ilove the color and the way that you handled both the lining and the straps!! You will be an extra wonderful Hit at houston!! Is the new book out yet???

It's wonderful...and should be nice and light for walking around at the quilt show.
